This was the first service introduced by Trent following the formation of the company which took over Commercial Car Hirers on the 3 November 1913. Within a few weeks it was cut back to Spondon.<\/p><h4>Derby- Nottingham via Borrowash Sandiacre and Stapleford<\/h4><p>1 October 1919<br \/>Service No.12 in January 1922 then No. 8 in June 1923<\/p><h5>Nottingham-Heanor via Stapleford and Ilkeston<\/h5><p>1920..<br \/>Service No.15 during January 1922 and then No.32 in June 1923. The number of journeys to be run shall be fixed in the following proportions.\n<div class=\"li\">\n<ul>\n \t<li>E Poxon- one eleventh.<\/li>\n \t<li>Barton Transport- five elevenths<\/li>\n \t<li>United Bus Service- five elevenths<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\nThe same passengers shall not be picked on the portion of the route Chequers Inn, Stapleford and Red Lion, Sandiacre for the purpose of being set down on that route.\n\nAmendment granted 23\/10\/32\nOn journeys from Ilkeston no passengers will be taken up after the bus leaves the Wesleyan Church, Stapleford bus stop for the purpose of being set down before the authorised bus stop on the Long Eaton side of the White Lion Sandiacre on Longmoor Lane. On the journeys from Long Eaton the points were Red Lion, Sandiacre and Stapleford Board School.\n\nPrior to the Act local authorities issued licences for bus services and the Ilkeston- Long Eaton route had nine operators all vying for custom and when the Road Traffic Act was implemented in 5\/31 it would appear all the operators continued with their timetables and the Traffic Commissioners stepped in with the above requirement to resolve the chaotic situation. The restriction on picking up was to protect Trent and Barton service 4.\n\n15 April 1956 Commenced 15 service some journeys extended to Aston on Trent until February 1959.\n1966 certain journeys on service 15 diverted via Ilkeston Rd, Melbourne Rd, and Hickings Lane as route 26.\n<h5>Service No.4 Sandiacre (Red Lion)- Arnold now direct<\/h5>\nby January 1928\nvia Derby Road, Parliament Street Nottingham then to Mansfield Road, and Sherwood\nDaily\n<h5>Service No.4 Sandiacre (Red Lion)- Arnold via Beeston also now direct<\/h5>\nParliament Street Nottingham via Derby Road, then to Mansfield Road, and Sherwood.\nDaily\n<h5>Stanton by Dale-Arnold via Derby Road, and as above.<\/h5>\nBy June 1929\nvia Derby Road, and as above.\nSaturdays only.\n\n3 November 1929 All the above three routes cut back from Arnold to Parliament Street Nottingham (direct route) or via Beeston to Friar Gate, which was withdrawn completely by September 1930.\n<h5>Service No.4 Sandiacre- Beeston (Barton Street or Ericssons)<\/h5>\nby January 1930\nvia Stapleford, Bramcote and Wollaton Road.\nDaily\nby January 1931 became service 4A works service only.\n<h5>Protection to Nottingham City Transport<\/h5>\nBy June 1931\nGave protection to Nottingham City Transport on all routes into and out of the City, with no pickups after Tottle Brook on inward journeys to Nottingham and no set downs before then on outwards journeys.\n<h5>Sandiacre (Red Lion) &#8211; Bulwell (Market Place)<\/h5>\n16 February 1933\nvia Stapleford Roach, Hemlock Stone, Strelley, Bilborough, Cinderhill,\nFridays, Saturdays and Sundays only\n<h5>Service No. 32 Nottingham (Huntingdon St) &#8211; Bulwell (Main Street}<\/h5>\n1 July 1939 This was a replacement of the above Sandiacre-Bulwell service\nvia Bramcote, Ilkeston Road and Hemlock Stone.
